John enjoyed working hard and looked back with pride at his many accomplishments. John also loved John Deere tractors and he spent years scouring the countryside looking for more tractors to admire and/or acquire.

John was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed. John fought with cancer and although he did not prevail, he faced death with dignity and bravery. He maintained his cheerful disposition and was quick with a smile to the very end.
