
The Lord our Father, called his son, John Mickey Robinson to join him on September 26th 2012. John passed away at the blessed age of 68 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. John was born February 3rd 1944 to the late Annie and Charles C. Robinson in Eufaula, Alabama. John leaves behind four siblings: Charles C. Robinson Jr., Anne Wright, Betty Jean Avery, and Catherine Robinson. At a young age, John spread his wings and took life as it came. He graduated from high school and furthered his education at Akron University becoming a counselor for the State of Ohio. John resided in Eufaula, Alabama in childhood; Akron, Ohio through his early and middle adult years; and for the last ten years, his current resident has been Colorado Springs, Colorado. John is survived by his wife of 33 years; Sandra Bennett-Robinson of Akron, Ohio, as well as several children: Tyrone Bobby Robinson: Eufaula, Alabama; Roman Robinson: Colorado Springs, Colorado; Clifton Harris-Robinson: Columbus, Ohio; Scott Fields: Colorado Springs, Colorado; Benny Robinson: Eufaula, Alabama; Cassandra Ardell Robinson: Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mickey Deshawn McKinley: Colorado Springs, Colorado; Helen Cherry Robinson: Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Carolyn Smith: Hartford, Connecticut. He was blessed with15 grandchildren all of whom he adored. John loved the outdoors; and fresh air. He appreciated all God’s creations. He enjoyed walking daily, yoga, and cooking. His favorite dishes were chicken and rice, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, and crisp lettuce with mayo, tomatoes and pepper. John will be remembered by his sleek attire, smooth walk, silver tongue with a velvet voice, and his ability to make life seem o.k... John was a proud strong man, who will truly be missed. He will live on through the lives that he has touched. God Bless you John…, we will all miss you and may you rest in peace.
