John L. Tagert, 86, of Cascade, passed away on September 30, 2019. He was born in Colorado Springs on June 23, 1933. John graduated from UCLA with his Master’s degree. He married Patricia Tagert in 1987.
John had a career in law enforcement with the Colorado Springs Police Department. He was a member of the Colorado Springs Police Protective Association, and had a passion for parachuting and rock climbing.
John is survived by his sons James L. Tagert and Michael J. Tagert; grandchildren Zoey M. Tagert and Jayce M. Tagert, and his brother Bert E. Tagert.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 19, 2019 at 10am at First United Methodist Church.
