Jonathan Davis passed away on November 25, 2025, after bravely battling cancer for two years. He was born in Tarrant County, Texas, and later moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he had always dreamed of living. He started his own business, Colorado Gadget Fix, where he pursued his passion for repairing broken electronics.
Jonathan raced cars with his friends until he moved to Colorado, where he discovered his love for fishing. He traveled all over the United States—and sometimes even farther—to chase his dream fish. He built a family within the fishing community; not only did fishing bring big catches and beautiful views, it brought him some of his closest friends. Fishing gave him happiness and peace—it was his escape from the world around him.
Jonathan loved his family more than anything. He had three beloved daughters, Emma Davis, Ellie Davis, and Gracie Davis, who were the light of his life. He leaves behind a large and loving extended family, countless friends, and a community that will deeply miss his kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit.
Jonathan’s story doesn’t end here. Every lake he fished, every road he traveled, and every person he loved now carries a piece of him. He is forever fishing.
