Joey worked as a correctional officer for the Colorado Department of Corrections. He was a member of the United States Army and the Colorado Army National Guard. He had a passion for cars, motorcycles, hiking, fishing, and the military.
Joey is survived by his wife Briana, his father Dwayne Anthony Coppinger, his mother Sally Ann Schultz, and his brothers Anthony Coppinger and Angelo Coppinger.
A funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday May 2, 2019 at Swan Law Funeral Directors.
