I knew when Ricky was just a young boy of about five, that he was very bright.  I wish I had gotten to know him in his adult years.

Richard was a high school friend in Chula Vista, CA.   For many years we lost contact, but thankfully we reconnected 5 years ago.   We are both veterans and  enjoyed sharing Army stories and tales of family and pets.   His love of family and country was always evident.  I know his passing will leave a huge void in the lives of all who loved him.  RIP fellow soldier, you were the best!

Thank you for being the best grandfather to our boys and thank you so much for bringing my husband into this world and raising him into the amazing man he is today! You were such an amazing human and we are so thankful for every moment, all your advice, guidance, every laugh, and memory! We love you more than I could ever put into words, thank you from the bottom of my heart! 

My condolences to Joe’s wife, children and family. I met Joe as a teenager hanging out with Drew and Jordan. When I first met Joe I thought he was scary! He had a grumpy face🤣
He told me his bark was worse than his bite. He was a sarcastic person and so am I, so we ended up getting along just fine😂 and it turns out he isn’t too much of a grumpy guy! He was a giant teddy bear and a giving and loving heart! 
He made an impression on me and anyone who has met him.
He is a treasure ❤️

From Libby - I'm so grateful I got to know you Rick. All of us always had so much fun together, whether spending time at home or on a vacation together. Will miss you so much. You definitely were a big part of our lives.


   Joe is a Dear Friend & Brother whom I will so miss.  He was not a materialistic person but a man with a Big Heart and one that truly loved his family and dog.  Joe knew how to enjoy the simple things Life offers instead of pursuing worldly treasures and riches, which he could have obtained had he of choosen  to do so for he had the ability and opportunities.  He is the better man for his choices. 

    In 2009 I was blessed to have camped in Arizona with Joe, Richard and Bob.  It was an amazing week in the desert.  We explored old gold mines,  plinked with our firearm of choice and sat by the campfire at night.   Each  evening we took turns cooking. When it was my turn I cooked burgers with bacon, cheese and all the condiments on sourdough bread.  While I was cooking Joe said in a sarcastic voice (all in jest), “do you know what you’re doing?  Will they be edible?”  When I finished cooking I stated in an aggressive voice, ”I do not want to hear a Damn word about these burgers.”  Joe started eating and Replied, ”These are the best Tomatoes and lettuce I’ve ever eaten.”  I asked him what he meant by that and he said, “you told us to not say anything about the burger so I’m just telling you how good the veggies are.”  Joe was an intelligent man with a quick wit which prevented anyone from besting him.  This is a rare & wonderful combination. 

  I know there is an amazing place prepaired for Joe and we will all see and enjoy his company again.

  The time of knowing Joe on earth was too short but then 1000 years would have been too short.
