

She was born 20 July 1940 in Paxten, Illinois to Albert Wilson (US Air Force) and Elizabeth Wilson. She attended High School Frederick Sasscer High School, Upper Marlboro Maryland and college at Colorado College for two years to study Music.
Judith married Robert Kramer (US Air Force) of Colorado Springs, CO; 9 July 1960.
She is survived by her children, Kathryn Kramer of Gainesville, Virginia and Robert Kramer, Jr. of Fort Myers, Florida her grandchildren, Kelsey Gradia of Centreville, Virginia, and Hillary Curran of Victoria Minnesota, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Judith had a lifelong passion for music. In college, she Initially studied to be a concert pianist where she discovered her love for singing and choral music. Her early musical career included singing in the Grace Episcopal Church Choir, performing with the Colorado Springs Opera Society, and singing with several Chamber Singer organizations. While living in the Washington DC area, she joined the National Presbyterian Church Choir where she began her career composing and performing her music, to include arrangements of existing works and her own compositions. Upon returning to Colorado, she joined the Colorado Springs Chorale where she served on the Board in several positions, to include Chairman of the Board. She also joined the First Christian Church Choir. She remained active, singing, and writing until her death.
She served beside her husband, a 30-year Air Force Officer Veteran, and accompanied him to several state and overseas assignments. While living in the Washington DC area, she worked at the National Public Radia station, WAMU, as an Administrative Assistant, Fund Raiser, and Guest Coordinator. Returning to Colorado, she volunteered with the Volunteer Center of the Pikes Peak Region and worked for Colorado’s 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in the Economic Crimes Division.
Judy touched the hearts of people everywhere she lived. With music in her soul, her passion, warmth, strength, and energy were infectious, and her love for her family, lifelong friends, and colleagues was deep. She will be remembered and greatly missed.
