Julia Campbell

Julia Delores Minson Campell, 88, went to be with her Lord on February 18, 2012.

Delores was born in Mulberry, Kansas on February 26, 1923, graduated from Colorado Springs Palmer High School in 1942, and was married in Raton, New Mexico to Milford J. Campbell on January 24, 1942. She was preceded in death by Milford in 1979.

Delores is survived by her children; Delores M. Campbell and Audrey Ward, Betty J. Chamberlain (husband Roy), Larry M. Campbell (wife Rita), and Carol A. Good (husband John – deceased), four grandchildren; Tiffany Chaffee, Shawn Wilson, Paula Monroe and Wesley Campbell, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Norma Hembree, two brothers, Robert Minson and Luther Minson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Delores was a life member of V.F.W. 4051 Auxiliary, past president of the Purple Heart 234 Auxiliary, DAV 1 Auxiliary, EOE 143 Auxiliary and a member of the Moose Lodge 244 Auxiliary. She was also a 10 plus year cancer survivor.

Services will be Saturday, February 25, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Chapel with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
