A Colorado Native, she lived in many small towns within the state, including Minturn, Carbondale, Elizabeth, Colorado Springs, and most recently Security-Widefield. She loved hiking, camping, and fishing until the Parkinson’s disease made her unable to get out there safely. She loved volunteering in various roles in her church including but not limited to Sunday school Superintendent, Vacation Bible School Director, church treasurer, and adult bible study facilitator. She worked multiple jobs including seamstress, and dental office reception, before going back to school Full time at Pikes Peak Community College and getting her Associates degree in Accounting. One of her professors suggested that she apply for the job as a corporate accountant for The Navigators, which she worked for over 20 years until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, her parents Anna and Harvey May, and both her brothers Bob and George, and a multitude of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She is survived by her Son Robert, her Daughter Anna, and various cousins.
