Born to Dorothy & Timothy Driscoll, Kay was raised in Lawrence, Mass. graduating from St. Marys High School. She attended Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing, graduating as class president in 1953. Married to Jack McCarthy, she spent 20 yrs as an Air Force wife, traveling to France, Germany, N.H., Mass. and Fla. and settling in Colorado Springs, CO.
Kay had 2 children, Patricia McCarthy-Donahue & Robert McCarthy.
After working at USAFA Hospital Clinic, she attended the Air Force School of Health Care Services and graduated as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and continued her career until retirement in 2001.
She was married to Victor Morris from 1995-2005, now deceased.
Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Patricia & Barbara, son, Robert and 2 nephews.
Kay enjoyed travel, cruises, Las Vegas, reading, movies and all the days she had in her life!
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia, 3 grandchildren, Amy, Kris & Robert. Two Great-granddaughters, Katie & Abby and a nephew Bruce Ordway.
