Katy Katherine Rhodes

Katy Katherine Rhodes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on September 03, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado, February 11, 1922 the oldest of four siblings.

Family and friends were extremely important in her life. She enjoyed cooking for the holidays and family gatherings. She enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to Cripple Creek, Colorado.

After moving from Durango, Colorado in the 1970 to Colorado Springs, Colorado she worked at Central Uniform and Linen Supply Company until she retired.

Preceeded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Rhodes, loving son, Edward J. Rhodes, and sisters, Rosa Colp, and Mary Harrington. Survived by her daughter Virginia (Steve) McCandless, son Sammy (Sandy) Rhodes, Daughter-in-Law, Diane Rhodes of Blue Water, New Mexico, and sister Maxine Cozadd; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and by numerous nieces & nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 10th, St. Mary’s Cathedral Colorado Springs. Cemetery committal services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
