Keith was an envelope machine adjuster at Current Inc. for 35 years before happily retiring in 2009.
Keith met Linda Drommond at a printing school in North Dakota in 1970, and they were married in May of 1972 in the middle of a stream on Cheyenne Mountain. Together they bought 20 acres of land in Bear Trap Ranch, south of Florissant, Colorado, where they built a weekend log cabin which they enjoyed for over 50 years. There was no running water or electricity, and they slept under the stars many a night. They especially enjoyed sharing the cabin with their many friends.
Keith and Linda loved the outdoors, often camping, boating and water skiing all over Colorado. Cross country and downhill skiing were also two of their enjoyable winter activities. Keith’s favorite vacations were in the 1990s when they took 4 different Windjammer Barefoot Cruises in the Caribbean. In their later years, they started travelling internationally, and especially liked river cruises in Europe.
Keith was a jack-of-all-trades. He could build and repair just about anything, and it had to be done right. He was also handy and helpful in their home, which Linda greatly appreciated.
Keith was predeceased by his younger brother, Paul, and brother-in-law, Vern. He is survived by his wife, Linda, his older brother, Tom (Susan), and two nieces; his sister-in-law, Ellen, and three nephews. He also left behind numerous friends.
An informal gathering will be held at the cabin November 14th.
