Keith passed away peacefully at the Spanish Peaks Veterans Community Living Center (SPVCLC) in Walsenburg, Colorado, on August 20, 2021 at the age of 91.
Keith was much-loved as a kind, generous man who was devoted to his country and his community. Keith served with distinction in the U.S. Air Force with deployments including Europe and Vietnam. Friends remember Keith as the ultimate Boy Scout, joining his first troop at the age of 9 and then serving nearly eight decades as a nationally-recognized Scout leader. Keith will be remembered for his volunteer work including his service as a docent in a local museum. He was concerned about protecting the environment and he worked as a photographer for the U.S. Forest Service. Most of all, Keith cared about other people and he appreciated the beauty in life. Through his passion for photography, he shared the wonder of nature, people, architecture and arts.
Survivors include: Spouse Svetlana J. Grove, daughters Debra D. West and Marjorie A. Anderson, sons Grant K. Grove and Glenn K. Grove, step-son Eugene V.
