Jordan and Maya,
My heart aches for you...losing your mom so soon in your young lives. She was such an  incredible person and I know she loved all of her children with every fiber of her being.  She will be your guardian angel, watching over you always from heaven.  She will always walk with you and live in your hearts.

Rickey, please accept my condolences on your incredible loss. Kelly and you were a wonderful couple. It's so hard to believe that she has gone on ahead. She was a beautiful woman. I just can't say anything at the moment . . . I love you, cousin.

I only knew Kelly for the short time while she worked at St. Mary's but she was full of life and inspiration. She had an infectious smile that would light up the room. I will pray for her family that they find some comfort that she is in a better place and that she is no longer in pain. Dolly Steffen

To my deep regret we never had a chance to meet. Here is my take. You obviously loved my cousin Rickey and as I also love him I love you also. Kelly will be missed deeply. She blessed us with four beautiful grandchildren.  She was a wonderful Daughter, Sister Mother and Wife. She was blessed with a man who loved her so much and stood by her unconditionally. We share in your loss Rick, Maya, Josh, Shelby and Jordan. Love and Prayers to you all.

I feel blessed to have been a classmate and friend of Kelly's for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

I've known Kelly since the third grade. At least that is my first memory of having her in the same class. One of my first memories of Kelly was what a great colorer she was. She would hand in papers that were artistically so beautiful. I remembering admiring that so much at that young age and so I started coloring like her. I never was as good as her though, but I tried! Kelly was always such a kind, generous and sweet soul. We didn't get to talk that much in High School, but when we did connect it was always significant. She always had a way of "seeing to your soul", and when she did, you knew she instantly understood you. It was that deep compassion for people that she had.
Truly a great loss, and I am deeply saddened. What a blessing it has been to know her. Blessings always to your family, and I am profoundly sorry for your loss.

I only knew Kelly for a short period of time before she got sick. But in that short time, one thing became very very clear. She was a sweet and thoughtful soul that loved her children and husband with all of her heart. She had a strong sense of spirit and what is beyond our bodies. Kelly's disease took her away from her family. It robbed her of being a wife and mother.i know that she is now with her husband and children once again.
