Kenneth “Ken” Peach, passed on to his heavenly home, Saturday July 17th, 2021. He was born in Oketo , KS to Adolph and Viola (Keen) Peach, on May 15th, 1938. He married the love of his life, Sue, in 1959, and moved to Atlantic City, NJ, where he worked as a mechanic. After the birth of their second son, they moved their family to Kansas and eventually settled in Emporia. There he worked in several mechanic positions before taking a job teaching at a vocational school. He later started his first auto repair shop, Peach’s Automotive, prior to moving his family to Colorado in 1977. In Colorado, Ken and Sue had many ups and downs, but eventually were able to open K&S Automotive which has been and continues to be, a successful business. Over the years, Ken had been a scout master, a Sunday school teacher, a leader in the Nazarene church and was a member of The Gideon’s. He was well known to always have a peppermint, bubble gum, or Werther’s for any who crossed his path and was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He was a man of many interests, a proud provider and a great maker of pancakes, who enjoyed being around his children and grandchildren immensely.
Ken is survived by his sisters, Lola Mae Enss and Ruby Chaszar of Missouri, three sons, Kenneth Jr. (Roxann) of Westminster, CO, Donald (Sherri) of Colorado Springs, David (Mindy) of Fort Smith, AR, two daughters, Tammy (Frank) Versaw of Hudson, FL and DeAnna (Domenic) Manzelli of Riverview, FL, thirteen grandchildren; Amy, Kristin (Josh), Joshua (Christina), Kindra (Jake), Ashlyn (Connor), Jenna (Evan), Leah (Jacob), Ryan, Mollie, Caleb, Cody, Joey, Natalie, and Kenny; seven great grandchildren; Maleah (Elijah), Mariah, Chase, Bella, Preston, Braedon and Lilliana; and 2 great great grandchildren Malijah and Elicia-Sue.
