It is with deep sadness that we announce that Kenneth Poe passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Kimberly, his children, Zachary, Jaclyn and Julia, his parents, Charles and Lorraine, and sister, Kim.
Ken was an extraordinary husband, father and friend to many. He lived his life with passion, with the goal of experiencing as much as possible and sharing it with everyone he cared for and loved. He was happiest doing almost anything outdoors, including mountain biking, hiking, boating, riding quads, and scuba diving. Ken was a skilled and creative craftsman, and enjoyed building wine cellars, furniture and home additions. He will be dearly missed and remembered as someone who truly enjoyed life to the fullest!
We will be holding a Celebration of Life service in his honor as opposed to a traditional funeral. Ken’s personality was positive and full of happy times, therefore in reflection to that, feel free to wear bright and happy colors!
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. A visitation will occur Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. A funeral service will occur Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. A reception will occur Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
