Ken was preceded in death by his Father Wallie Bell Summers and Mother Ethel Viola Summers. Ken married Roberta Ilene Thompson April 8, 1953, who preceded him in death. Ken Is survived by 2 Sons and 1 Daughter: Mark Summers (Connie), Patricia Sykes (Terry), Brian Summers (Annoma), multiple Grand Kids and Great Grand Kids, his Brother, Wilford Summers (Laura), and many Nieces and Nephews.
Ken started his Union Sheet Metal Apprenticeship in May 1955 and turned out as a Journeyman in June 1959. Ken worked for Jardeen Sheet Metal, Singleton Sheet Metal Works, Don Esch Inc, US Engineering, and Alpha Heating before retiring 2-1-1984. For a brief period of time, he was co-owner of S & M Sheet Metal. Ken loved being a Sheet Metal Worker as well as hunting and fishing.
Ken will be cremated, and a private service will be planned for late spring or early summer.
