Kerry W. Ness, 54, artist and sculptor, was a resident of Colorado Springs since 1974. Kerry was born in Duluth, MN on October 27, 1956. He graduated from Surrattsville High School in Clinton, MD. in June 1974. He attended El Paso Community College which later became Pikes Peak Community College. Kerry took his inspirations for his exquisite and sometimes whimsical creations from the mountains, wildlife and the materials he used, such as alabaster, fine woods and metals. His sculptures are treasured works of art in the homes of his many friends and family members throughout the United States.
Kerry is survived by his parents, Delores and Walter Biggs, his sisters; Carla Garbarini (Charleston, S.C.), Cheryl Ness, (Lafayette, CO.); his brothers: dale Ness (Broomfield, CO.), Jamie Biggs (Colorado Springs), two nieces and five nephews whose visits he always enjoyed.
In remembrance of Kerry, enjoy our beautiful Colorado, which he loved; treasure our wildlife; adopt an animal needing a forever home.
