Killian Thomas Kaizer (77). Killian was born in Bismarck, ND to William and Otillia (Guck) Kaizer. He was the youngest boy of 8 children. He retired from the Air Force in 1975. After retiring he worked for several aerospace companies on government contracts. Killian married Claudia (Sziich) in Colorado Springs on May 25, 1957 at Sacred Heart Church.
Killian was an avid hunter, fisherman, and champion skeet shooter. He is remembered by family and friends for establishing the “first night out – steak” tradition which is carried on today. He had a quick wit and when talking on the phone would always tell the caller they are “looking good” today. He had a great memory, especially when it came to knowing who borrowed his tools.
Killian is survived by his wife Claudia, 3 children Mary Ann (Roy) Koontz, Theresa Blomgren, Bill (Cara) Kaizer, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Along with 3 sisters; Kathryn Polakowski, Chicago; and Marlys Webb and Marilyn Wilson, Bismarck, ND.
