LeRoy “Lee” Medina, 63, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born May 13, 1953 to John and Isabel Medina in Raton, New Mexico. On October 2, 1972 he married Patricia Merritt in Phoenix, Arizona. He served 21 years in the US Army.
Survivors include his wife Patricia; his 2 sons, Michael Medina of Colorado, and LeRoy Medina JR of Colorado; and Daughter, Patricia Wirtemburg of Colorado; 4 grandchildren Codee; Tyler; Samantha; Tristan; 2 sisters Isabel Keiser of Oklahoma and Nora Cotton of Colorado; 1 brother John Medina of Colorado; as well as many Aunts and Uncles ,nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A time of gathering will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 1:00 pm at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Memorial donations can be made to the Pikes Peak Hospice 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
