A Tribute to a Cherished Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend

Linda Anderson passed away peacefully on August 10th in her lifelong home of Colorado Springs. She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, Paul and Nona Park, and her son Doug.

Linda leaves behind her devoted husband of over 20 years, Bob; her loving son David; her dear grandsons Connor and Ethan; and her brothers Joe, Bill, and Jim. She is also remembered fondly by sisters-in-law Christine and Shirley, and her daughter-in-law Nadine and her many friends at Vista Grande Baptist Church and her Mah Jong group.

Linda will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her deep love for animals, and her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Her kindness, laughter, and devotion to her family and friends enriched all who knew her. In Linda’s own words she loved the LORD and was active in her church. She would share what God had done for her and was eager to share that truth with anyone that would listen. She was not shy about asking anyone if they were a believer.

Though Linda has gone to join her loved ones above, her spirit remains in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, forever loved and remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to Linda’s favorite charity Best Friends, an organization dedicated to creating a sanctuary for homeless animals. https://bestfriends.org

A visitation will be held on August 16, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Vista Grande Baptist Church, located at 5680 Stetson Hills Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80917. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A graveside service will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
