

Linda Jane Cranfill, age 82, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Linda was born March 26, 1940. She was born to Mathel and Elbert Cranfill in Seattle, WA. Linda graduated from Lincoln High School in 1957. She married Robert Lee Dickson, a Naval man in 1958 in Seattle, WA. In 1959, their daughter, Robin Lynn was born in Seattle. They moved to San Francisco and in 1961, their daughter, Karen was born, followed by their son, Glenn in 1963. Linda and Bob divorced in 1975 and Linda remarried Charles Buxbaum in 1976. The family moved from Seattle, Washington to McAlester, OK.
In 1987, Linda and Charles were divorced, and Linda went to school at Kiamichi Vo-Tech in McAlester and became an LPN in 1988. She also attended Rose State in Oklahoma City. She worked in several different health agencies in Oklahoma, including Hospice. She moved back to Seattle to pursue her career of nursing there. In 2006, Linda retired from nursing and moved to Colorado to be closer to her family there. She left soon after, to return to her beloved Seattle where she remained until 2019 when she relocated to Tulsa, OK with her daughter, Robin.
Linda remained in Tulsa until November, 2021. She moved with her Colorado family to Colorado Springs, where she remained until her death on May 28, 2022. Linda was surrounded by her family when she passed away peacefully. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Mathel and Elbert Cranfill, her granddaughter, Tiffany Dickson, and her daughter, Robin Black. Survivors include her brother, Steven Cranfill and his wife, Linda of Seattle, WA. Her children, Karen Bailey and her husband, William of Colorado Springs, CO and Glenn and his wife Marcie Dickson of Crowder, OK. Linda's cousin, Mary Tallman and her husband, Kevin of Whidbey Island, WA. Linda's grandchildren are: Matthew Metcalf, Sara Bailey Gustavson, Ryan Black, Chelsea Black Ines, Chris Dickson, Kevin Dickson and Jessica Clayton. Linda also has several great grand children. Linda will be interred at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery in Seattle, Washington at a later date.
