
Linda Faye (Cobb) Rodriguez, 81, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026. Just thirteen days earlier, she lost her beloved husband, Jon Rodriguez. After 40 years of marriage and a lifetime of shared love, devotion, and companionship, Linda and Jon are together once again.
Linda was born in Stratton, Nebraska, to Burl and Mary Cobb. During her childhood, her family relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she spent much of her life. After living in Connecticut for a number of years, she eventually returned to Colorado Springs, a place she always considered home.
Linda was known for her warm heart, unwavering dedication to her family, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and extended family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Marybeth) Wilcox of Ellington, Connecticut, and Lisa Anne Haefner of Windsor Locks, Connecticut; and by her stepdaughters, Susan (Mike) Sluski of Amarillo, Texas, and Laura (Mark) Esplin of Delta, Colorado.
Linda was a proud grandmother to Amanda (Adam) Jurovaty, Justin (Nicole) Haefner, and Dylan Wilcox; and to Thomas (Alexandra) Sluski, Tyler (Kelli) Esplin, Klinton (Breanna) Esplin, Cody (Sadi) Sluski, Kaitlyn (Taylor) Deines, Luke Sluski, and Kellie (Alec) Swope. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Rodriguez; her parents, Burl and Mary Cobb; and other loved ones who welcomed her into eternal peace.
Linda's legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched with her compassion, generosity, and strength. Her love, guidance, and gentle spirit will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have known her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and friends.
