Lynn Proctor, born on September 17, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to David and Anna Davison, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy. Lynn is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Raymond Edward Proctor; her daughters, Taylor Raelyn Keeton (married to Bryan Douglas Keeton) and Rachel Lauer (married to Joshua Lauer); her grandchildren, Lauren Ashley Finch, Andrew Davison Proctor (married to Elisabeth Marie Proctor), Alec Morgan Finch (married to April Walters), Victoria Lauer, and Nikolas Hunter Finch; and her four cherished great-grandchildren, Ava Blake Finch, Abram James Proctor, Steven Ray Proctor, and Rebekka Lynn Proctor.
Lynn’s love story with Raymond began on a blind date arranged by mutual friends. Sparks flew, and they married a year and a day later on November 25, 1967. The couple resided in Michigan until 1981, when they spontaneously relocated to Colorado. Lynn began working at Digital in 1982 but was laid off in the late 1980s. Undeterred, she earned her nail technician certification and launched her own successful nail salon, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for her craft. A breast cancer survivor since 1986, Lynn also faced near-drowning during a white-water rafting adventure in the 1990s, showcasing her remarkable strength and courage. She shared her love for bowling and shooting with Raymond, creating cherished memories together.
A woman of deep faith, Lynn loved the Lord with all her heart and was baptized on November 2, 2003, at Rocky Mountain Calvary by Pastor Brian Michaels. She was a dedicated member of Springs Lighthouse, attending services with her family or watching them live when unable to be there in person. Lynn’s creativity shone through her avid knitting, crafting warm, beautiful socks and blankets for her loved ones. Known for her playful spirit, she delighted in jump-scaring her children and grandchildren and whistling at passersby while driving. Lynn’s love for fast cars, especially the Dodge Challenger, was matched by her spirited driving style. She was a devoted grandmother, famously accompanying her grandson Andrew to school and even sitting in class to ensure he stayed on track.
Lynn’s home was filled with the love of her dogs, who brought her immense joy. She and Raymond first owned two huskies, Kasha and Zhivago, followed by Sydney and DOG, and later Nemo and Dittles. Her affection for her pets was a reflection of her warm and nurturing heart.
Lynn Proctor’s vibrant spirit, unwavering faith, and boundless love for her family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished forever.
