

M. Pauline Harper, born Sept. 24, 1922 in Bijou Basin, Elbert County CO, to P. Edwin and L. Bessie Colbert. After graduating high school she attended and graduated from Blair Business College in Colorado Springs. She worked as a checker at Star Soopers for many years and then as a talented homemaker for the remainder of her years. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Harper Sr. She is survived by her 3 children, Ron (Linda) Brauer of Peyton, Marilyn Hirsig of Granite Canyon, WY, and Kendra Harper of Denver; her 3 grandchildren, Shea (Jimmie) Bloom, Ian Nissen, Ashlee (Josh) Tatum; and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 step children: Waunita (Jim) Barnhill of Grand Junction, Kenneth (Jeri) Harper Jr. of Colorado Springs, and Barbara (Joe Ed) Newsome of Littleton; 7 step grandchildren - Valerie (Richard) O’Connor, Jim (Maggie) Barnhill Jr, Keri (Ralph) Olson, Chris (May) Harper, Ron (Sheri) Stanley, Doug (Judie) Stanley, and Greg Stanley; 10 step great-grandchildren; and 2 step great great-grandchildren.
Services to be held at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Rd, Thursday Oct, 17th at 1pm.
