Margaret Frances Hunter

She was born on April 4, 1944 in Colorado Springs. She was the 3rd of six children born to

George and Frances Stanko. Margaret graduated from Wasson High School in 1962.

After graduation she married Eldon C. Hunter on October 13, 1962.

She is survived by three brothers, Don Stanko, Tom Stanko, and Ken Stanko, all are

third generation natives.

Margaret worked as a childcare provider and also as a manger for Boston Market.Her family was the most

important thing to her. Margaret leaves behind her three sons: Jeffrey J. Hunter

(wife, Leah Hunter), Timothy L. Hunter, John B. Hunter, two grandchildren: Becky

and Chris, and four great-grandchildren: Joshua, Dillon, Connor and Andrew.

Margaret will be remembered at 11:00A.M. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Swan-

Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs. Private burial will take

place at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Wild Blue
