Her wings were ready, our hearts were not, although unseen, unheard, I feel her near. For ever missed and deeply loved. Losing my grandma Margaret hurts so much, seeing her in pain hurt so much more, I wish time was endless. I am grateful for the nearly 41 years with my grandma Margaret. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish. She loved the Rocky Mountains, The Denver Broncos, clowns, Buffalo, Aspen trees, and most of all her family.

When I visited my grandparents as a little girl there was always a feeling of security and warmth. I was always comforted by the chimes of the many clocks that she had, the sounds of trains passing in the night, the creeks in her floors as she walked to check on me in the middle of the night and the way the sheets smelled as I wondered off to sleep. She made the best dinners and always made sure there was enough for my sister and I when we would visit at least once a week. She always called to check on me even as an adult. She sure loved me. I am so blessed to have had her love for all those years and I will miss her deeply until I see her again.

To my Beautiful Grandma,
I’ve been so blessed to have had the best grandma in the world for 42 years! You were and always will be the sunshine in my life. I thank you for the thousands of wonderful memories you’ve left in our hearts and for instilling love, compassion, John Denver, and all things beautiful in our souls. I promise to watch the Broncos and call the stadium when I’m unhappy, I promise to always admire golden aspen leaves and talk to deer and donkeys. I will crank up the music and call everyone when Celtic Thunder is on PBS! But Most of all I will try to emulate your spirit by standing for what I believe in and by being perfectly imperfect! I will miss you every day for the rest of my life.
I love you so very much!

I remember going to your house with Mom and Pop so you all could play pinnacle till all hours of the night. Lol Growing up around you and my cousins was such a blessing. In high school Rodney and I were best friends and we'd hang out at your house all the time. You were always so loving. Margie I'm going to miss coming over and cutting your hair. Sitting and talking about your memories of your childhood. I love you my dear cousin. ❤
