

Margie was born to Jessie Susie and Antonio Medellin in San Antonio, TX on June 2, 1958. The family soon moved to North Texas; settling in Keene where Margie enjoyed the greater part of her youth as an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist church.
Margie married Michael Davidson on March 7, 1987 and relocated to Colorado Springs, CO. Ever the proud Texan amidst the majesty of the Rocky Mountains; she raised her children with the sounds of George Strait always in the background and a lifelong devotion to the Dallas Cowboys.
Margie was deeply committed to her church fellowship serving as head deaconess at Central Church and volunteer at Springs Adventist Academy where she fed school children and the homeless. She was equally involved within the military community and an advocate of Vets of America. Her work even earned her Volunteer of the Year recognition at Lowry AFB.
She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Medellin; brother, David Medellin; and nephew, Victor Preston Medellin Sterling.
Margie is survived by her husband, Michael Davidson; mother, Jessie Susie Medellin; brother, Antonio “Tony” Medellin Jr; sisters, Nora Medellin, and Annie Sterling; son, Anthony Damron; daughter, Monica Welch (Justin); granddaughters, Sarah, Brooklyn, and Amelia Welch; and nephew, Jackson Sterling.
A memorial service will be held on July 2, 2022 at 1:30pm at Springs Adventist Academy 5410 E Palmer Park Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO.
