Marguerite “Dee Dee” Bieker was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. One of five children born to Albert and Susanna Sanchez, she shared a deep bond with her siblings—Star, Panchita, Banco, and Kado. Dee Dee had two children, Jennifer (Gregory) Peterson and Jeremy Bieker, and she found immense happiness in being “Grandma” to her five cherished granddaughters: Ingrid, Grace, Audrey, Raquel, and Bailey.
To her many nieces and nephews—and just as many great-nieces and great-nephews—she was lovingly known as Aunt Dee Dee. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her heart was always open. She had a way of making everyone feel special, seen, and deeply loved. Dee Dee was the embodiment of strength and independence. After a long and fulfilling career at the Broadmoor, she embraced retirement with joy, especially looking forward to football season. Her loyalty to the Denver Broncos was fierce and unwavering—just like her spirit. If you ever spoke ill of her Broncos, you’d quickly learn just how tough she could be! Though small in stature, Dee Dee’s heart was larger than life. Her radiant smile could light up any room, and her presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew her. Dee Dee will be deeply missed, but her love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She truly was one of a kind—second to none.
Visitation will be held May 21, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs CO 80910 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.
