Marian Sazuki Nohara Anderson passed away peacefully on February 18, 2013, in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born on the Island of Hawaii, Township of Hamakua, Village of Kalopa, Territory of Hawaii in February, 1921.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James F. Anderson, Jr.; daughters, Myrna J. Watt of Colorado Springs, CO, and Sheila A. Lee of Broadway, VA; granddaughters, Ginger A. Mallard of Hauula, HI, Amber T. Watt of Dallas, TX, Rebecca A. Watt of Hot Sulphur Springs, CO, and Jackie L. Carter of Denver, CO; great-grandson, James D. L. Nielsen of Denver, CO; sister Jane C. Akamine of Ewa, HI, Sheila Y. Kisaba of Honolulu, HI, Edith O. Nohara of Hollis, NY, Ellen H. Kim of Honolulu, HI, Ethel K. Kim of Torrance, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Pat Turner who was invaluable to the family and also to Pikes Peak Hospice who provided Marian with gentle and dignified care.
