Marilou Petrick

Mrs. Marilou Petrick (née LeGoullon), of Colorado Springs, CO (previously North Huntingdon, PA), passed away early Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the age of 81.

Marilou was born to parents Howard and Alice LeGoullon on Jan 18, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA. She and her elder sister Lois grew up in Wilkinsburg, PA and graduated from Wilkinsburg High School. In 1957, she married her long-time sweetheart, Raymond Petrick, a pharmacist who worked for her father who later owned his own pharmacy. They raised two children, Gregory and Beth in North Hundingdon, PA. Raymond and Marilou retired and moved to Colorado Springs to be near their daughter and her family.

Marilou is survived by her son, Gregory Petrick; her daughter, Beth Wilson; her Daughter-in-law Kellysha Petrick, son-in-law Brett Wilson, and grandchildren, James Petrick, Alex Wilson, and Sara Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents, Howard and Alice; and her sister, Lois Thompson.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Sq. Dr., Colorado Springs. Inurnment will be in Allegheney Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Marilou’s name to Suncrest Hospice – 7660 Goddard St., Suite 100, Colorado Springs, CO 80920.

I met Marilou through our neighborhood bunko group over 2 years ago! She immediately became one of my favorites! What a loving, full of life Lady that always brought joy and laughter! I’m so thankful for the opportunity of knowing this Beautiful Woman! My deepest sympathy to her family! I will miss you Marilou!!!! Xo

Our favorite memory of Marylou is her sharp wit, smiling face, and confidence.It was a treat to be with her at Wilson family events. We are glad that she was able to be near much of her family these past years. Love to all your family with our deepest sympathy for your loss.
