Mark Bruce Higgins, 74 years old, passed away on September 20, 2024 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Mark was born on January 2, 1950 in Sycamore, Illinois to Frank and Doris (Guertin) Higgins and had four sisters, his twin Marlene, Ellen, April, and Jeanne.
Mark served in the United States Army and went to Vietnam. He went to North Illinois University and received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Industrial Arts Education. He worked as a designer for Ideal Industries. Mark volunteered with Casa for many years.
Mark married Carol on December 22, 1973 in Sycamore, Illinois at St. Mary’s Church. Together they had two children, Jeremy and Nathan Higgins.
Mark is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Jeremy and Nathan; granddaughter, Emily. Jeremy and Emily reside in England and Nathan resides in Poland.
