Mark Vaszary, age 56, of Falcon, CO, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026. He was surrounded by loved ones. Mark was born on August 6,1969 in the state of Missouri. He lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and steadfast devotion to his family.
Mark was the beloved husband of Susan Vaszary for 28 years, and a proud father to their two children, Emily and Megan.
Mark achieved a Bachelor of Science in computer science and engineering at the University of California, Davis. He also achieved a master’s degree in business administration. Recently, Mark was pursuing an advanced degree in Cyber Security at the College of Applied Science at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
He worked for 30 years starting at Hewlett Packard. Most recently, he worked for Opentext, Inc. in the field of cybersecurity. Mark also had an interest in real estate. He was a real estate broker and had his own real estate business called Neighborly Realty in California. He managed multiple properties in Colorado.
Mark’s hobbies as a young man were mountain biking, rollerblading and kayaking. In recent years, he played as much golf as he could.
Despite all of Mark’s educational and career success, his true love and time went to his family. He always prioritized spending time with his daughters and took a genuine interest in their goals and activities. He will be remembered for caring for his family and friends, and for living his life to the fullest.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910, US, on August 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Entombment will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Rd, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910, US, on August 8, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
