

She was born to Nicolas and Encarnación Valenzuela on August 16, 1950 in South Gate, Ca. Martha was raised with 10 siblings; three brothers and seven sisters. Family was a major part of who she was. Martha loved family traditions passed down from her mother and kept her loved ones close to her heart. Martha was born a natural caregiver and always put the needs of other’s before her own. Faith was important to Martha and she believed with God, all things were possible. Martha loved to laugh and have fun. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and all her family. She loved to travel and always looked forward to a trip to the casinos or her annual trip to Mexico. Martha loved music and dancing, especially salsa dancing. As this is how she would meet her husband Danny Ortega. Together they had 3 children.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa (Harold) Pacheco, Richard Ortega, Valerie (Isaac) Padilla; grandchildren, Gabriel, Danielle, Maribell, Julliana, Destiny, Isaac Jr, Julissa, Noah; and numerous family members and friends.
Martha was predeceased by her husband, Danny Ortega; parents, Nicolas and Encarnación; siblings, Marie Hernandez, Chona Llamas, Lupe Eras and Michael Valenzuela.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 24th, at Immaculate Conception Church, 740 S. Shamrock Ave, Monrovia, CA.
Burial service at 1:00 pm, at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA.
