Mary Ellen was born in Detroit Michigan to Edwin F and Mary E. Nalezyty on February 7th 1965. She went to school in Madison Heights, MI. She married Gregory Schymanski on August 3, 1991 at St Dennis in Madison Heights.
She graduated from Detroit College of Business.
Mary Ellen was involved in a number of activities at her parish St Patricks and with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. She loved all things Disney (from parks, hotels, and cruise ships), reading and crafting with her granddaughter, and traveling with her family to many different locations.
Mary Ellen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by parents Edwin and Mary Nalezyty. She is survived by her husband Gregory, children: Kelli(Sam), and Andrew, granddaughter Mason, and her brother Dennis(Elaine).
Rosary will be Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 9:15 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
A Funeral mass will follow the rosary at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
