Kathy was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, June 20, 1939. She went to Pine Bluff High School, where she graduated in 1957. She married the love of her life, Edmond C. Goldberger on August 21, 1960. They traveled to Europe and parts of the United States while Edmond was in the U.S. Air Force. They moved to Colorado Springs, CO in September of 1977, where they later retired. Before retirement, she worked as a Payroll Technician/Personnel Operations in the realm of civil services.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Edmond Goldberger. Daughters: Lorrie Taylor (husband Chuck Newman of Tucumcari New Mexico) and Mary Lund (husband Raymond, of Killeen Texas). Her sister Martha Jane Schnemilch of Lombard Illinois. Kathy has 7 Grandchildren, and 21 Great-Grandchildren.
Kathy is preceded in passing by her parents Mary Ethel and Albert Branch.
There will be a graveside service at Memorial Gardens, at 10am. Only immediate family will be at attendance due to the Covid-19 virus.
Officiant will be Rev. Douglas Brauner from Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Memorial Donation may be made to American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
