Mary Louise Hartley

Mrs. Mary Louise Grimaldo Hartley, age 88, of Colorado Springs, passed away Tuesday evening, August 2, 2022. She was born October 16, 1933 in Colorado Springs, the daughter of the late Estefana and Isaac Grimaldo. She was the youngest of 3 children. Mary Lou married Clyde Thomas Hartley of Tennessee in 1952. They had 70 wonderful years together. She was a member of Post 5 American Legion for 42 years and The Eagles 143 for 35 years. Mary Lou enjoyed going up to Cripple Creek to play the slot machines, camping at Chatfield Reservoir, and loved going to family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her mother Estefana, father Isaac Grimaldo, and two brothers Ralph Grimaldo and John Grimaldo. Together they raised two children Sarah L Toves (deceased), Clyde Jr Hartley (deceased). Mary Lou has one grandson Michael, and one granddaughter April, and one great grandson Brandon. She has many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home, reception to follow at 2:00 PM.
