Maximilian Ines Barajas, age 16, unexpectedly passed away at home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on May 29, 2023. Max was born on April 25, 2007 to his parents Rudolf Barajas II and Erin Barajas. Max was known by his friends and family as a kind, caring, and loving young man. His gentle demeanor and genuine nature ensured he was beloved by all who knew him. Max loved gaming, playing his guitar, bowling, putting together puzzles, eating cherries, and spending time outside with family and friends. He also greatly enjoyed his time working at Culver's with his close friends and coworkers.
Max is survived by his mother, Erin Barajas, his brothers Brandon Lazzara and Rudolf Barajas III, his sisters, Hayley Lazzara and Juliana Barajas and many more family and friends. Max is preceded in death by his father, Rudolf Barajas II.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership.
A public memorial service for Maximilian will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
