Maybelle E. Smillie (Alderton) 95 of Colorado Springs passed away on June 18, 2016. Maybelle was born on May 23, 1921 to the late Alfred and Lovella Smith in Denver, Colorado. Maybelle is survived by her loving children, Kevin Alderton and Kathy Taylor, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing her husband of over 30 years James Henry Alderton. A Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 a.m., both at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910.
