FRANK KESLER 86 SMSG Meredith Francis (Frank) Kesler USAF (Ret) passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado on December 31, 2017. Frank was born April 13, 1931 in Nebraska to Earl and Thelma (Roberts) Kesler and spent his childhood in the Tri-City area of Washington State. He was a proud retired Air Force Bronze Star Veteran with 28 years of service, including the Vietnam War. He loved to travel and for many years was a full time RVer, traveling throughout the United States. He loved to fish, watch football, spicy food, tell a great story, science fiction, and will be remembered for being inventive and forward thinking. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix, not always perfect looking but always perfectly functional. He had a great sense of humor with memorable antidotal tales and was fiercely protective and devoted to those he loved. Frank was predeceased by his first wife Alice (married 23 years) whom he had five children with, Nelma (Steve) Polvinen (New York), Thomas (Jan) Kesler (Illinois), Randy Kesler (Florida), Catherine Kesler (Florida), and Patricia (Louis) Coloma (Washington). He is also predeceased by his beloved second wife Ruth (married 36 years) whom he became stepfather to Connie Allen (Florida) and Inez Allen (Inez predeceased both her parents). Frank is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Frank will be missed by all that loved him and knew him. Special thanks to the staff at the Union Printers Home in Colorado Springs where he lived the last three years and to his grandson Eric Hall and his wife Kiti of Colorado Springs, Colorado who visited him often and always reminded him that he was loved.
