

Mick was born February 27, 1946 in Atchison, Kansas, to Everett and Doris (Summers) Rasdall of Effingham, KS.
He attended Atchison County Community High School prior to enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1966 where he served over 20 years, being honorably discharged. Following his retirement from the Air Force, Mick did tile work, worked for the Colorado Springs School District 11, Penrose Community Hospital, and most recently the Hampton Inn. He also represented the citizens of Cimarron Hills by serving 8 years on the Board of Directors of the Cimarron Hills Fire Protection District.
Mick enjoyed sports (particularly baseball and Kansas City Chiefs Football), fishing, chatting about everyday life over coffee, and spending time with friends and family, especially his most beloved grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sharon Kuykendall, and his brother Eddie Rasdall.
Mick is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Rasdall of Colorado Springs; his brother Gary Rasdall (Joyce) of Effingham, KS; his son Michael D Rasdall Jr (Kim) of Ocala, FL; his son Matthew D Rasdall (Mandi) of Colorado Springs; and his grandchildren, Kaitlynn (17), Owen (11), Michael III (7), and Kora (2).
A celebration of Mick’s life will be at Chapel of Memories (829 S. Hancock Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903) on Tuesday, July 26 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations would be greatly appreciated.
