Naomi Marie (Correll) Yager 86 years of age went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on

November 14, 2011. She was born at home in Yoder, Colorado to Owen A. Correll and Laura Grace Heaston on July 13, 1925.

She married Robert G. Yager on April 19, 1947 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Naomi is survived by her

Children Robert (Anna ) Yager, Colorado Springs, Kenneth (Peggie) Yager, Manitou Springs, Kathryn (Vern) Thomson, Manitou Springs, Laura (Morris) Ratcliff, Dennison Texas, Son-in-law Larry Adams and sister-in-law Rella Correll, Colorado Springs, her friend Irene Anderson many nieces and nephews, friends, 8 grand children and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, daughter Karen and Brothers Clarence and Perry Correll. Naomi was also a “Rosie Riveter”, in the shipyards. Naomi sold Insurance and Avon for many years. She and her husband owned Jo’s Café (now Mo’s Diner) Manitou Springs until 1972. She served over 25 years, faithful volunteer service at Miramont Castle and a life member. She is a Past President of the Manitou Springs Woman’s Club (2 terms) and a Life Member. Naomi was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Cowboy Church.

Services will be at Living Hope Church 640 Manitou Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO on Friday, November 18, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor’s Vern Thomson, Kyle Sullivan and Joe Stephenson of The Colorado Cowboys for Jesus will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
