Pamela Anne Winford passed away peacefully at St. Francis Medical Center in the arms of her mother and son. Pamela bravely fought cancer for ten years always with the hope that she would beat it. On the day of her death she knew the battle was over.
Pamela was born and raised in Colorado Springs and lived here all her life. She was the daughter of Robert G. and Cynthia L. Winford. She married Jack Lawrence Phillips, III on May 22, 2000 and they divorced November, 2014.
She leaves behind her son, Jack L. Lawrence IV, 20 years old, who lives with his grandparents in Black Forest, CO. She also leaves behind her brother, Brian Matthew Winford (Tonya); her cousins Mariah, Daniel, and Sean (Lacey), plus other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Pamela graduated high school at Colorado Springs Christian School in 1992; then attended Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO, achieving a B.A. Afterwards, she began working with her father at Adams Culvert Co. Her dream was to become a Medical Assistant. In 2005, she graduated from Remington College with further hopes to become a nurse. Now, she is with the Lord.
Pamela was the light and joy to all her friends and family. We will miss her laughter and love.
