Jane L. Crooks entered her eternal life on March 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. Jane was born on April 6, 1941 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and adopted by Jim and Marie Daily in 1943. Jane moved to Jupiter, Florida with her parents and graduated from Jupiter High School. Following graduation, Jane was accepted at St. Mary's Hospital, West Palm Beach, Florida in their X-ray training program and upon completion, became a registered X-ray technician. Jane married Jim Crooks, April 6, 1962 and they moved to Blairsville, Georgia in 1979 and owned and operated a Christian book store (Jonah's Whale). In 1989 they moved to Branson Missouri as missionaries with Stonecroft Ministries. Active in the United States Methodist Church, Jane attended St. Paul's School of Theology in Kansas city and was appointed to her first pastorate in June, 2000 and would serve various churches in South West and Mid-State Missouri until she retired in 2017. Jane is survived by her husband Jim; son, Rev. Kevin Crooks (Debbie) of Georgia and daughter, Kristi (Paul) of Colorado and blessed with five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. Jane is preceded in death by her parents.
A private service will be held with the family with internment at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
