Patricia Gunty

Patricia Gunty, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on September 14, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Patricia was born November 15, 1933, to the late Theodore and Alice Gollin Chicago, Illinois.

In 1973 Patricia and her husband, Leonard, and children moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado a place she loved. She enjoyed working as an insurance adjuster at USAA for many years. Patricia along with husband Leonard enjoyed traveling, camping, searching for antiques.

Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory; Thomas (Marsha) Tanis, Michael Tanis, Robert Tanis of Colorado Springs, CO, daughter Catherine (Gene) Conaway, Savannah, GA, Kevin (Kathy) Gunty, Cheryl (Gunty) Wuerz, Colorado Springs, CO, and Mark (Laura) Gunty, Layton, UT, Kevin (Kathy) Gunty, Cheryl Wuerz, Colorado Springs, CO, Mark (Laura) Gunty Layton UT, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Gunty.

A family visitation will take place Monday September 25, 2023 from 10:00AM-11:00AM, at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs along with the funeral service which will be at 11:00AM the same day. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 North Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, immediately following the funeral.
