Patricia "Pat" Darlene Hannaford

Pat was born in 1943, in Rockford, IL to Ellsworth and Ruth Eddy. Pat was the fourth child to join her siblings, Judy Allen, Bill Eddy, and Dody Ralstin. She moved to Colorado Springs when she was 2 years old. Pat loved to tend to her roses and flower gardens, attend Native American events, and watch her grandson in his Irish Dance competitions, and all his band activities. Pat was a proud Palmer High School graduate from the class of 1961, where she met her first spouse Shelly (Dean) Anderson and had two children with him.

She attended Blair Business College where she earned her Associate's Degree in clerk and typing. Shortly thereafter she met Charles (Len) Hannaford. They married in 1975 and had one child. She went to work for School District 11 and loved working with the children that she interacted with each day. As a crossing guard she was known as "Miss Pat" and gave presents for every holiday to all the children she crossed.

She never moved from Colorado Springs and was not a fan of traveling but loved to see all the places her grandson traveled and attended many competitions with him (even if they were out of state). She was known for her bright pink hair, her well-dressed dog, and her holiday decorations. Her house was always decorated with Mickey Mouse for each holiday, and she was always very proud to see her house stand out from the others as being the only one to celebrate even the smallest holiday.

Pat is survived by her children Timothy Anderson, Tammara Gilliland, Crystal Levesque, and grandson Armand Levesque. Pat did not want a service and instead asked her family to remember her by keeping the decorations going and dressing her Pomeranian, Siobhan, in all her fancy dresses.
