

Pat is survived by her husband, William J Jensen Sr. of 31 years. Her children Jeremy D Tague, spouse Lisa and their child Madalyn; Whitney J Jensen and her child Christina Parks; William J Jensen Jr and his children Aiden and Keegan. Pat is also survived by her siblings, Michael Strunk, Leslie Thomas, Thomas Strunk, Betsy Vasquez and Kenneth Strunk. Additionally there are numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Maurice Claire Strunk and Mother, Anna Mae Riley-Strunk.
Pat was born in East Chicago, IN and her zest for life led to many professions including food service, cosmetology, catering, sewing and even as the church organist. Pat enjoyed sunshine, warm weather and swimming. Her talented green thumb produced a variety of fruits and vegetables from her quarter acre garden in Wheeler, Indiana. She could be found tending her roses and served on the board for the local rose society in Colorado Springs. After 12 years, she retired from food services at Widefield School Dist 3’s Sunrise Elementary. In 2014, Pat founded Anna Mae Purses with her sisters and continued to spend her time designing and producing beautiful creations for the company after retirement.
Pat was devoted to her family and to her, nothing was more important.
Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Everyday you could find warmth with her smile and unconditional love from her hugs. She was reliable, strong and loved. She will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at The Colorado Springs School, 21 Broadmoor Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80906, from 4pm to 6pm in the Maytag Cafeteria (Building No. 5). Please wear colorful attire to help celebrate Pat’s bright spirit.
