Paul passed away peacefully on February 14, 2019 at the age of 83. He was born in Alexander Kansas to Laurel and Myrrl Bondurant. The family moved to Colorado Springs in 1946. Paul graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1953. It was in 1959 that he met and married Jeannie Knutson, they were married for 59 years. Right after they were married, he was drafted and served in the Army from 1959 to 1961 as a Radio Teletype Operator. After serving his country, Paul and Jeannie moved back to Colorado where he worked and attended the University of Colorado, graduating in 1970 with a business degree in Accounting.
Paul enjoyed camping, riding snowmobiles and motorcycles. He bought a Gold Wing in 1983, it was in 1984 that they joined the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter I. They were original members of the Chapter where he served as Treasurer for 30 years, eventually becoming lifetime members.
Paul is preceded in death by both of his parents and grandson Steven Bondurant who he missed very much. He is survived by his wife Jeannie, daughters Alise Hunter (Monte) and Karen Bondurant, granddaughter Julie Baker and grandson Corey Hunter, as well as his four siblings.
Memorial service will be held 11:00AM at Community of Christ located at 2502 Palmer Park Blvd., 80909. A luncheon will follow the service, everyone is welcome to come. Burial will follow the luncheon at 2:00PM at Memorial Gardens located at 3825 Airport Road.
