

Paul R. Noel, 57, passed away August 3, 2011 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, due to complications from heart and lung disease. He was born on June 29, 1954 in Tucson, Arizona to Lt. Col. (Ret) US Air Force Richard Joseph Noel and Corinne Janet Noel, who survive Paul. Paul was the third of seven children, raised in the Air Force.
Paul graduated from Minot High School in Minot, North Dakota. He attended two years of college at Northern Colorado State in Sterling, Colorado. After college he spent a short time in Craig, Colorado and then relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado and then moved to Colorado Springs where he has resided for 25 years. He loved carpentry, hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, making jewelry and playing the drums, which was a passion. And he played with a passion!
Paul served as a reservist in the Colorado Army National Guard in the 1980s. Upon relocation to Colorado Springs Paul began his career with School District 20 where he remaind for 20+ years until his retirement in 2008.
Paul is survived by his parents; son, Brian Paul Noel of Fort Collins; daughter, Danielle Marie Noel of Colorado Springs and her guardian angel Craig; fiance, Debbie Richardson of Colorado Springs; siblings, Peter Joseph Noel of Honolulu, Hawaii; Merci (Scott) Hutchison of Colorado Springs; Sharon (Rudy) Eggeling of Austin, Texas; Christy (Tim) Saxe of Fort Collins; Patrick Noel and Amy of Fort Collins; Michelle (Dan) Mitchell of Colorado Springs; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. Paul was preceded in death in 2002 by his wife, Robin, who had been employed by Synthes of Monument, Colorado.
A Celebration of Life to include Paul's drums and Harley will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 12:00 p.m., at the Sunrise Methodist Church, located just south on Rangewood off of Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs. A private family inurnment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery where Paul will be placed next to his wife of 20 years Robin.
