Great pictures, Wendy. Hard to accept this passing...one of the real good guys, and one of my favorites. Paul and I shared several interests...scotch, gin, CNN! Kidding! I never heard him say a disparaging word about anyone...except Obama. Kidding again....maybe...anyway!
We will all see him again. He is at peace in God’s Xanadu.

Paul was a kind, generous man ,with a great sense of humor. He always loved a good story or a good joke. If you know Wendy at all -you probably have heard the red Wellington story. Even though Paul had probably heard it a hundred times he still cracked up every time she told it. He always got my jokes-- even though I had to explain them to Wendy which made Paul and I laugh a lot. I am going to miss him very much.

Always a gracious and generous host, Paul made certain his family and friends were well cared for.  Laughter and Kindness surrounded the Spencer household.  Paul and Wendy's grace is shown in their kids, and who they've become.  I feel blessed to have called him friend. Paul will be missed every day!

On behalf of all of us at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, we are deeply saddened by the news of Paul's passing. We will miss seeing his constant smile at the theatre and will remember him fondly for his love of his family and generosity to our community. We will treasure our happy memories of the times we spent with Paul, and we hope that you will take comfort from the memories of love shared.

Wendy and family, I’m so sorry for your loss, you and your family are in my prayers, loseing a loved one is not easy my mom passed on the 3rd their memories will always live on in each and everyone, I remember Paul as always  having a smile on his face growing up he will be missed.

Dear Wendy, Todd and Jillene,
I am so sorry for your loss.  I found out today and was instantly brought back to so many memories at the factory in Torrance.  I learned so much from Paul.  He was and always will be one of my mentors in business and in family.  Wendy I am beyond sad for your loss, your love of your life and your children's and grandchildrens father and grandpa.  I know what losing a father feels like and I cannot even begin to touch that with words.  Just know you're in my thoughts and prayers..I know there are never any words that anyone can say that can bring any kind of peace.  People grieve how they grieve.  There are no rules and time goes by so slowly. I am praying for you all! Heaven got an amazing man!

Paul will be cherished as a husband and dad, and as a devoted, giving , treasured -- and irreplaceable --- friend.  Paul was as talented at friendship as he was at everything else he tried.  It hurts my heart  to imagine all you are going through right now.
